Before we get too far into March, I wanted to share my word cloud for February. As a visual person who’s fascinated by words and patterns, I thought this would be a fun way to highlight the standout themes from each month's nonfiction releases.
While I didn’t capture every title (imagine the size of that list! ), I’ve included nearly 70 new books that caught my eye—focusing, as always, on the lighter side of things.
Highlights from February’s Nonfiction:
📖 Memoir led the pack with 11 mentions—personal stories are clearly having a moment.
🌿 Life appeared 8 times, because who isn’t pondering life’s mysteries?
💌 Love showed up 7 times, proving it’s always in the air.
📚 History and Story each had 6 mentions—because the past never really stays in the past.
📝 Essay and Guide popped up 4 times, offering plenty of insights and how-tos.
Other notable words? American, art, live, plants, and quest—suggesting themes of transformation, growth, and curiosity.
What’s Next?
I rounded up the full list of February’s titles and authors into a neat little PDF, so if you’re curious, you can click the button below to download.
Here’s what you can do with it:
✅ Mark Your Must-Reads—Turn it into a checklist for your next trip to the bookstore or library.
📚 Compare With a Friend—Swap picks and buddy-read a title together.
🎧 Check Different Formats—Some of these might be even better as audiobooks.
